Jacob is my precious little boy. I was about 4 months pregnant with him when I found out I had malaria. I had contracted it 9 months earlier on a mission trip. Now that we are both healthy, I can't help but fight for the children and pregnant mothers who don't have access to the medication and care that I had. I chose my $30,000 goal because it will buy 3,000 bed nets - the number of children who die daily from malaria!
